Before getting any kind of credit, I'd say! But that would be disastrous for the credit card companies, I guess:)) Fees net between $30 and $40 billion for the credit industry annually. Note, that's the credit card related fees (late charges, monthly/membership fees, over the phone payment fee), not the interest!!! I believe "Money management" should be part of the high school education!

"Maybe it’s impossible to implement but i think every potential credit card applicant should take credit education courses before geting a credit card"

A very important thing is to apply for a credit card that's right for your credi history. It means if you have bad credit, choose among bad credit credit cards, and do not even look at cards for good score.Wrong choice causes denial which damages your still low credit. And it's one of the most frequent mistakes.

All those talks about discipline and responsibility... They seem to bring nothing but a whole lot of articles on bad credit management and damage of credit score as a result. Maybe it's impossible to implement but i think every potential credit card applicant should take credit education courses before geting a credit card. Debt should't be the end of credit card use.
